Lochern National ParkOutback Queensland

The eastern section of Bluebush Drive is temporarily closed until Friday 30 January 2026 inclusive due to track damage after a major flood event. The western section of Bluebush Drive is open to 4wd only, starting from the Ranger base and returning to Tonkoro Road via Waterloo Road. Broadwater Waterhole camping area and the visitor information centre at Lochern National Park are open.

Don't walk, drive or ride through floodwaters. Remember, if it’s flooded forget it.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
