Permit summary
A Commercial Activity Permit may authorise a wide range of activities conducted for gain such as an event.
If your activity is commercial in nature (for example a business or fund-raising activity) you may require a commercial activity permit.
Depending on the location or nature of the activity, the department may instead recommend a Commercial Activity Agreement.
Refer to the Operational policy – Commercial activities in QPWS managed areas for more detailed information.
For non-commercial events an Organised event permit or notification to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service may be more suitable.
