Closure - Wards Canyon walk

Closure status: A facility or feature within the park is closed

This alert applies to the following park:

As a result of severe weather damage Wards Canyon walk is closed until declared safe.

QPWS Rangers are managing the situation and have damage repair activities in progress.

Closed areas:

All Permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure.

Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.

Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.

Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
