This alert applies to the following parks:
- Bellthorpe National ParkBrisbane; Sunshine Coast

- Conondale Range Great WalkBrisbane; Sunshine Coast
- Conondale National ParkBrisbane; Sunshine Coast
- Beerburrum and Beerwah State ForestsBrisbane; Sunshine Coast
Queensland Fire Department (QFD) has declared a Local Fire Ban for Noosa Shire Council, Sunshine Coast Council, Moreton Bay Council and Somerset Council which includes sections of the above parks and forests within this local government area.
Until further notice, open fires must not be lit anywhere in:
- Beerburrum State Forest
- Conondale National Park
- Imbil and Jimna State Forest
- Mapleton National Park
- Kondalilla National Park
- Glass House Mountains National Park
- Bellthorpe National Park
The following are not permitted:
- Open campfires and fires in braziers, drums and other open containers.
- Appliances using wood, timber or solid manufactured fuels (e.g. Oz-pigs, kettle barbeques and similar appliances); and
- Use of QPWS supplied fire-rings and wood-fired barbeques.
Gas and electric barbecues including gas and spirit stoves, are permitted to be used if they:
- do not have the potential to generate airborne embers or ignite nearby ground fuels.
- are not left unattended; and
- are suitably contained.
