This alert applies to the following park:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) have determined that visitor amenities situated at the Tallanbana trailhead are not performing to optimum standards.

As a result the following facilities have been closed indefinately, until further notice:

  • Public toilets at Tallanbana (at the trailhead of the Twin Falls circuit walking track).

Alternative toilet facilities are located at Goomoolahra picnic area (approx. 1.5km south at the end of Springbrook Road) and at Gauriemabah (Place of Stories) Visitor Info Centre on Old School Road (approx. 1.5km north of Tallanbana).

Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
