This alert applies to the following park:

Visitors are advised that the following walking tracks in Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park (CYPAL), will be temporarily closed from Monday 27 April to Friday 30 October 2026 (dates inclusive).

  • Old Coen walking track
  • Section of Paalpal walking track - Brecia Hill section (west of Gordon Creek camping area).

This closure is to allow removal of cyclone damaged trees and debris.

Please adhere to all safety and directional signs.
