This alert applies to the following parks:

Visitors are advised that from Monday 2 November 2026 to Monday 1 February 2027 (weather permitting), the viewing platforms and amenities at Josephine Falls, Wooroonooran National Park, will undergo critical maintenance works.
At certain times during this period, the following visitor facilities may be impacted by partial closures:
- Josephine Falls toilets.
- Josephine Falls walking track and swimming areas, including:
- Access to bottom pool swimming area.
- Middle creek viewing platform.
- Top viewing platform.
While these critical maintenance works are being completed, we will ensure ongoing access to at least one of the viewing platforms with an anticipated 2-week temporary full closure to the swimming area (weather permitting). Temporary, portable toilet facilities will be provided for the duration of works.
