This alert applies to the following park:

Visitors are advised that a section of the McClellands Lookout carpark, located at the corner of Mount Spec Road and Loop Road in Paluma Range National Park, will be closed from Friday 19 June 2026 to Wednesday 16 June 2027 (dates inclusive).

During this time, contractors will be utilising the closed section of the carpark as a base for continuing landslip works along Mount Spec Road.  The remainder of the carpark will still be open to the public.

All other visitor facilities within McClellands Lookout day-use area, including the walking track, will remain OPEN. If required, the closest alternative carpark is located at the end of Loop Road.

For your safety, please observe all signage, barriers and directions and do not enter closed areas.
