Planned burn operations: between Station Creek and Saltwater Creek, Clemant State Forest

This alert applies to the following parks:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting planned burn operations in Clemant between Stations Creek and Saltwater Creek, within Clemant State Forest between Thursday 2 July 2026 and Wednesday 30 September 2026 (inclusive). This is part of the annual conservation management and hazard reduction program for parks and forests.

Firefighters, aircraft and machinery may be seen throughout these areas.

Smoke may be seen in the surrounding area and persons with respiratory or other health problems should seek medical advice on mitigating the effects of smoke inhalation.

The aim of these burns is to maintain a healthy forest environment and reduce the potential threats from bushfires in periods of dangerous fire weather.
