This alert applies to the following park:
Tracks within the affected area are temporarily closed due to hazardous trees and fallen vegetation resulting from recent weather conditions.
Previous prescribed burns, combined with recent high wind events, have resulted in unstable trees and hanging branches within the area. Trees and limbs may fall without warning, creating a serious risk to visitor safety.
For your safety, please do not enter the closed areas or attempt to bypass closure signs until the tracks have been assessed and cleared. Rangers are currently working to remove hazards, clear fallen trees, and make the area safe for public access. We appreciate your cooperation and patience while these important safety works are undertaken.
