This alert applies to the following parks:

- Bartle Frere trail, Wooroonooran National ParkTropical North Queensland
Visitors are advised that from 21 June 2027 to 3 December 2027 (weather permitting), the Eastern approach, Bartle Frere trail will be temporarily closed due to maintenance works and management operations.
This temporary closure will include:
- Big Rock camping area
- Eastern Summit camping area
- Eastern approach, Bartle Frere trail – from Josephine Falls to Bartle Frere summit, including Broken Nose section.
