This alert applies to the following parks:
- Main Range National ParkBrisbane; Queensland Country
- Scenic Rim Trail, Main Range National ParkBrisbane; Queensland Country
Due to a current wildfire, some areas are temporarily closed in Main Range National Park. Bushfire response activities are in progress and QPWS Rangers will continue to manage the situation.
Closed areas:
- Scenic Rim Trail
- Winder track
- Mount Castle Lookout
All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure.
Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.

Refunds can be applied for via your online account at qld.gov.au/camping.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
Due to the changed conditions the visitor experience may be affected.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
