This alert applies to the following park:
- Main Range National ParkBrisbane; Queensland Country
Due to a current bushfire, some areas are temporarily closed in Main Range National Park. Bushfire response activities are in progress and QPWS Rangers will continue to manage the situation.
Closed areas:

Areas around Mount William/Cole gully rd and Mount Lowe

Areas around Straightforward and Dry Creeks
Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
