This alert applies to the following parks:

Due to the current bushfire Lockyer National Park and Lockyer State Forest are closed. Bushfire response activities are in progress and QPWS Rangers will continue to manage the situation.

Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas

Stay up-to-date with Current bushfire warnings and incidents from Queensland Fire Department (QFD).

Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.

The park will reopen when conditions are considered safe.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
