Visitors are advised that QPWS Rangers will be conducting scheduled oiling and maintenance works on all park infrastructure at Hill Inlet, Tongue Point from 12/10/2026 to 16/10/2026 (weather dependent). During this period: • Sections of the lookout platforms, boardwalks and surrounding day-use areas may be temporarily closed. • Please note, at least one Hill Inlet lookout will remain open for park users. • The Tongue Point toilets will be closed on Wednesday the 14th and Thursday the 15th, and for short periods for cleaning and oiling. Please observe all signage and barriers, remain on designated walkways and comply with directions from QPWS Rangers. These works are essential to maintain visitor safety and protect the long-term condition of the site. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while maintenance is underway
