This alert applies to the following park:

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will be conducting a pest management control program at Bladensburg National Park each evening from Thursday 24 September to Thursday 01 October, between the hours of 4pm to 6am (inclusive), as part of the conservation management program for the park.

All control activites are conducted in accordance with the Bladensburg National Park pest management plan and help to protect native plants and animals from the harmful effects of pest animals (feral cats and pigs).

Firearms will be in use.

As a result, access to Bladensburg National Park will be available during daylight hours only during the pest management control program.

The Route of the River Gum drive and Skull Hole will remain open. Visitors must not deviate from signposted sites.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
