This alert applies to the following park:
- Ravensbourne National ParkBrisbane; Queensland Country
Due to the current bushfire, some areas are temporarily closed in Ravensbourne National Park. Bushfire response activities are in progress and QPWS Rangers will continue to manage the situation.
Closed areas:
- Wellers road area of Ravensbourne National Park
- Buaraba Creek walking track
- Ravensbourne Nature Refuge
All permits for closed areas are suspended for the duration of the closure.
Commercial tour operators and other permit or agreement holders are not permitted to enter closed areas.
Gus Buetel lookout, the Cedar Block Day use area, the Rainforest and Palm creek circuit walking tracks remain open.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Please monitor park alerts on the department's website for updated information.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
