This alert applies to the following park:

The Din Din Barron Falls day-use area within Barron Gorge National Park will be closed for critical planned maintenance from Monday 23 November to Friday 4 December 2026 (dates inclusive).

Facilities closed include toilets, lookout, boardwalk and walking track to the railway platform.

Access to the car park will be restricted.

The railway platform lookout will remain open but will only be accessible via the Kuranda Scenic Railway train.

For your safety, please adhere to all signs, barriers and directions from rangers and contractors and do not enter closed areas.
