This alert applies to the following park:

Atkinsons lookout trail and Rosella Plains lookout trail will be closed from Tuesday 13 October to Friday 16 October 2026 (dates inclusive) as Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will be conducting feral animal control, depending on suitable weather conditions. This will involve the use of firearms and helicopters and is part of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service pest management program.

Guided tours to the Undara Lava Tubes will remain open and Kalkani Day Use Area and Crater Rim Walk will also remain open.

Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
