This alert applies to the following parks:

The "Blackall 100" will be held in national parks and areas surrounding Mapleton Township on the weekend of 17th and 18th Of October.

Large numbers of competitors will be running along walking tacks, fire management trails and public access roads for the duration of the event.

All runners are expected to have passed through Kondalilla National Park by 10am Saturday.

Trail Running through the Mapleton area is expected to be completed by 10am Sunday.

Drive slowly to reduce dust, please be patient and allow plenty of room when overtaking.

Limited parking will be available at Mapleton Day Use Area and Mapleton Horse Trail Car Park during the event.

This is a "Run Queensland " event permitted by the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and SEQWater.  Event Inquiries to "Run Queensland" can be directed to Mb Ph contact 0447 711 232 or by emailing info@runqueensland.com

In the weeks prior to the event, park visitors may encounter runners in training prepearing for the Blackall 100
