Camping in Deepwater
Vehicle-based camping is permitted at Wreck Rock and Middle Rock in Deepwater National Park camping areas.
Middle Rock camping area is accessible only by high clearance four-wheel drive vehicles with high and low range capabilities. No facilities provided.
Wreck Rock camping area can be accessed by high clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles with high and low range capabilities from the north or by two-wheel drive vehicles only from the south. Contact local information centres first to check current road conditions are suitable. Toilets (non flush) and a cold outdoor shower are provided.
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag—printable after booking online—with your booking number must be displayed at your camp site.
