The Muulga Wetland is frequently visited by birdlife including magpie geese, whistling ducks, pacific black ducks, brolgas and forest kingfishers. In summer, dollarbirds migrate into this area. You might be lucky enough to see a cassowary here. Remember to always Be CassoWARY.
Getting there and getting around
Turn off the Bruce Highway 4km north of Cardwell and drive 1km along Clift Road to the car park.
