Camping area features: a large, open camping area very near the beach. There is easy access to walking trails and is suitable for large groups.
Location: at the old resort site, on Newry Island’s eastern side.
Access: the camping area can be reached by private boat only.
Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. A maximum of 36 people can camp on Newry Island at any one time.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping, large and small groups.
Camp site surface: grass.
Facilities: pit toilets, picnic tables, shelter shed.
Open fires: prohibited.
Generators: not allowed.
