Walking & mountain biking
The Wangetti Trail is a shared trail and can be explored in both directions. Follow these simple rules so everyone knows what to expect.
- Hikers have the right of way. Mountain bikers must give way.
- Keep left where possible and leave room for others.
- Wait for the Trail to widen before overtaking.
- Slow down on slopes and alert others before passing.
- Be aware of road crossings and give way to vehicles.
Along the Trail, you’ll cross gullies and creeks that run rapidly during and after the wet season. Most of the Trail is unsealed, formed track suitable for hiking and mountain biking. Some sharp turns and steep and narrow sections may test less-experienced riders.
Be realistic about your walking and cycling abilities and match the capabilities of your entire group. If you’re travelling with children, keep them close.
- There are currently no park alerts for this park.
