This track links Speewah Conservation Park to the historic Douglas and Smith tracks and the Barron Gorge National Park long-distance walking track network.

It is an easy walk, through spectacular rainforest with several creek crossings, boardwalks and a high bridge over a deep gully. Stinging trees, with their heart-shaped leaves, grow along the track. When you reach the Douglas and Smiths tracks (map location 5 (PDF, 596.2KB) ), retrace your steps to return to Speewah camping area.

This walk starts from Speewah Conservation Park (map location 13 (PDF, 596.2KB) ) in the upper (tableland) section of Barron Gorge National Park.
