Camping area features: This quiet camping area within Homevale National Park sits on the edge of Moonlight Dam—a popular place for birds to drink at dusk.

Location: : By foot: 16.2km one way from Denham Range camping area. By road: from the Peak Downs Highway, turn west into Nebo-Glenden Road. Follow this road for 11.2km and turn right into Turrawulla Road. From this intersection drive about 23km, passing the Homevale-Mount Britton turn-off, to the signed right-hand turn into Moonlight Dam camping area. From this turn-off, it is 6km to the camping area.

Access: walk-in, Mackay Highlands Great Walk or high-clearance 4WD vehicles.
