Daisy Hill Koala Centre provides curriculum-based lesson plans, teacher guides and resources for school excursions to Daisy Hill Koala Centre, and to other koala bushland eucalypt forests.

On Country Adventure Pack
Our new On Country Adventure Pack, is a self-guided First Nations activity pack designed to support schools in delivering cross-curricular activities during your visit.
Curated by Ranger Taleah, a Bundjalung woman, the On Country Adventure Pack features a range of authentic First Nations traditional games and activities. These include the Yulunga Traditional Indigenous Games, collated by the Australian Sports Commission with acknowledgments to Dr Edwards and the traditional owners.
These hands-on activities are a wonderful way for students to explore wildlife-inspired storytelling, enjoy physical activity, and foster a deeper understanding of First Nations culture.

Helping sick, injured or orphaned koalas
If you encounter sick, injured or orphaned wildlife immediately call 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) to give the animal the best chance of survival. 1300 ANIMAL operators will provide you with specialist advice on the safest way to respond to the situation.
