    OK, this is not about the walkabout discovery centre but instead about the Enoggera reservoir. This place is amazing, just beautiful to be able to swim there or (even better)take a paddle in the kayak. You may want to get there early to find a park, but this is one of the best outdoor activities that you can find in Brisbane to do for free!

    A fabulous local experience, great for families, enjoy a fabulous cast of wildlife characters to view and experience, and there's a cafe up top to have lunch or a snack afterwards.

    Came here with my family and a friend to kayak on the reservoir during September school holidays. Easy booking process and fairly cheap to hire - $35 an hour for a single kayak. Nice smooth water and got to see some turtles, birds and catfish in the swimming area. Great that there is a cafe in the discovery centre for a post water treat! Would recommend for a great family activity.

    Nice little swim spot and walking tracks of all distances. I think the shortest walking track is just under 5km. Not very strenuous. Good for a good stroll then a swim after. Cafe there looked like they had huge meals and I brought a coffee which was nice but the large coffee isn't that big.

    A good place for families and outdoor activities lovers. Long trails, beautiful scenery, a small zoo (admission ticket is required ), and a restaurant surrounded by nature.
