    The view of Enoggera Reservoir was really beautiful. Haven’t got the chance to try kayaking, but will definitely try it next time.(Be sure to book in advance!) We didn’t find any wild platypuses while walking around Enoggera Reservoir, but we bought tickets to see them at the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. It was well worth the price. The platypuses were super cute, even though there were only two in the centre. The wombat was super cute, too! He was really friendly and even walked over to us when he noticed us. There was also a wallaby with unique colors that I’d never seen before, though she was quite shy. Highly recommended!

    The discovery centre has many new displays with lizards, snakes, fish, platypus, crocodile, echidnas, tree kangaroo, wombat & more. Wallabies are free range within the grounds too. Very reasonable entry prices. New huge cafe for coffee, breakfast or lunch. After the discovery centre, you can go for a bush walk around the neighbouring dam. Highly recommended day out.

    Spent a full day here and it worked out better than expected. Arrived just before 10 and caught the platypus talk, then the Wildlife Discovery Show at 11. Worth booking the show ticket online, since it includes same-day entry to the Wildlife Centre anyway. The rangers clearly love this stuff and the show is the highlight. When the heat kicked in I swam inside the yellow buoys, then walked the Araucaria Track, which starts right at the beach and needs no preparation at all. One thing to know before you come: there are no koalas here. What you get instead is a platypus, a wombat, an echidna, a tree kangaroo, crocodiles, reptiles and wallabies wandering the grounds. Bring togs, a hat and plenty of water.

    What an amazing hike we had here yesterday... Went with a group of friends and took our time walking the trails, searching for birds and beautiful nature at it's finest. Well kept trails, hiking boots are preferable, dirt can be slippery. Parking is fairly easy, nice center to meet up before your hike, or swim, or boating of some sort, small crafts only.

    Lovely environment. Natural bushland. Good food. Native animals. Lovely lake for canoeing, swimming, picnics, walks and more.
