Camping area features: Quiet and shady bush setting close to walking tracks.

Location: 8km beyond Yaddamen Dhina.

Access: 2WD vehicle with caution. The unsealed (gravel) road beyond Yaddamen Dhina is narrow and winding, and not suitable for towing caravans or heavy trailers.

Camp sites are suitable for: tent/roof top tent camping and camper trailers. Refer to camping area summary table below for details.

Camp site surface: Dirt.

Facilities: toilets (non-flush) wheelchair access (may require assistance), log seats, individual fire rings.

Open fires: permitted in the fire rings provided at each camp site (except when QFD fire bans and restrictions or QPWS-imposed fire prohibitions (PDF, 763.6KB) apply) . Bring your own clean, milled firewood. Collecting firewood from the national park is prohibited. Extinguish your camp fire with water when you leave. It is recommended to use a fuel or gas stove.

Generators: Not permitted.

Essentials to bring: Drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags (and sealable animal-proof container), insect repellent and sufficient fuel for your stay.

Mobile phone coverage: Unavailable at the camping area. Variable coverage at Yaddamen Dhina lookout. Consider taking a satellite phone.
